Cape Kayak Adventures has the ideal location to launch and explore the Table Bay coastline from the sea providing unique and spectacular photo opportunities. Our shop is conveniently located at Three Anchor Bay where all our kayaks are stored on the beach. From Three Anchor Bay we embark on a 3 – 5 km journey towards Bantry Bay.

The view of Signal Hill, Lion’s Head, Table Mountain and the 12 Apostles is unforgettable. Uninterrupted views of our spectacular mountain range and the sea breeze will leave you feeling rejuvenated and hungry to taste more of what the Mother City has to offer.

Booking is essential and all trips are weather dependent. Make sure you are contactable on the mobile number you supplied when booking. If we have to cancel, we will notify you by text message an hour before start time.

Please note our cancellation policy states 24 hours notice. If a "no show" occurs, a 100% forfeit

If we have to cancel, we will do our utmost to notify you by text message and email an hour before start time, however PLEASE NOTE that weather conditions can change with little warning and to ensure your safety the guide on duty may be required to make a last minute call to cancel the trip should they feel conditions are unsafe to paddle. (You will have an opportunity to then move your booking or receive a full refund)

Safe for the whole family, no prior experience is required, but a level of fitness is required especially if you will be paddling with your kids! If you would like to request a guide to paddle with your child instead of you, please arrange prior to booking. Our Guides are incredibly knowledgeable and have a passion for the ocean, so you can leave your cares on the shore and enjoy an ocean adventure with us.

When - All Year

Weather - Stable seas

Wear - Comfortable beach wear (quick dry clothing is not essential but it is more comfortable). You can change and leave bags in the shop. There are lockers with padlocks for valuables. You do get a bit wet so you can bring a towel and a change of clothes for afterwards.

Bring - Sun protection (such as suncream, a hat and sunglasses) as well as water, should you wish to drink something.
The Atlantic can be chilly so bring a wind breaker just in case.
